Goodbye Toronto, goodbye sunshine! Back to the rain! ;)

Heute teile ich mit euch die letzten Bilder, die ich in Toronto gemacht habe. Ich war Sonntag Abend nochmal mit der Kamera unterwegs, war ganz nett. Am besten lässt es sich natürlich am Dundas Square nachts Fotos machen mit all den Neonlichtern und Leuchtreklamen.

Am nächsten Morgen hieß es dann noch einmal ausschlafen, auf's Frühstücksbuffett stürzen und dann nix wie raus in die Sonne. Und wieder ging es Richtung Strand und Lake Ontario! :) Diesmal allerdings in den Westen Toronto's, nach Sunnyside. Ich habe das Queen Street Cable Car zum High Park genommen und bin dann runter zum Sunnyside Park gelaufen, um dort einfach nur soviel Sonne wie möglich zu tanken. (In Vancouver weiß man ja leider nie, wann sich die Sonne das nächste mal blicken lässt! ;))

Vom Strand bin ich zur Canadian National Exhibition gelaufen. Das ist eine Art Freizeitpark bzw. Veranstaltungscentre. Hier finden viele Konzerte statt, Comedians und Artisten treten hier auf, etc. Ich bin aber nur schnell vorbei gelaufen, da ich keinen Eintritt zahlen wollte und sowieso nicht den ganzen Tag Zeit hatte. Und wieder bin ich dann Richtung Hafen gelaufen und zwar zum Coronation Park. Hier befindet sich Toronto's Inukshuk, eine Statue, die es auch in Vancouver an der English Bay gibt.

Nachdem ich mich ein wenig umgeschaut hatte, wurde es auch leider schon wieder Zeit, mich auf den Weg zum Flughafen zu machen. Ich habe noch schnell den Koffer im Hotel abgeholt und dann ging es ganz schnell wieder in die Stadt des Regens, Vancouver. :-)
