Driving thru the beautiful Valley of Fire, Nevada

Ihr Lieben,

heute berichte ich euch mal vom Valley of Fire, einem State Park in Nevada, etwa 80 km oestlich von Las Vegas gelegen. Der Park ist fuer seine roten Sandsteinformationen bekannt. Schaut euch die Bilder an, es ist wirklich traumhaft schoen da. :-) Wenn ihr mal in Vegas sein solltet, lohnt sich ein Abstecher hierhin auf jeden Fall. Da ihr eh alle lieber Bilder anschaut, als meine Schreiberei zu lesen, lasse ich auch heute die Fotos wieder fuer sich sprechen:

Mehr haben wir an diesem Tag gar nicht gemacht. Wir sind von Vegas durch das Valley of Fire Richtung Bryce Canyon gefahren und dann Abends in Panguitch angekommen, das nur ca. ne halbe Stunde vom Bryce Canyon entfernt liegt. Bye, bye Nevada! Hello Utah!

Viva Las Vegas! ♥ - Nevada, here we come! :-)

So ihr Lieben,

Heute erzähle ich euch ein bisschen von der Stadt der Sünde, Las Vegas. Nach einem langen, heißen Tag im Death Valley hatten wir dann nachmittags endlich die Grenze überquert und waren nicht mehr in Kalifornien, sondern im Wüstenstaat Nevada. Woohoo! 

Unser Motel zu finden, war gar nicht so einfach, vor allem, weil es Downtown Las Vegas war und das Navi mich innerhalb von einer halben Meile von der ganz linken Spur auf die ganz rechte von 5 Spuren schicken wollte. Ging leider nicht so wie ich es wollte. Nun ja, wir sind aber dann doch heil angekommen, haben uns erstmal frisch gemacht und uns dann direkt auf den Weg zum Strip gemacht, wo sich alle Hotels mit ihren Casinos befinden.

Nun ja, ich lasse heute einfach mal die Bilder fuer sich sprechen:

Las Vegas war schon ganz cool, muss ich sagen, aber da sowohl Katja und auch ich ziemlich Pleite waren, war da nix mit Gluecksspiel und Alkohol... Nur Sightseeing und Souvenir-Shoppen. Aber da die Fluege von Vancouver nach Las Vegas recht guenstig sind, komm ich vielleicht nochmal her und versuch mein Glueck...  You never know...! ;-)
